Orthopaedic excellence

With a distinguished career stemming from St Bartholomew's Hospital Medical School, Mr. Andrew Edwards is a beacon of orthopaedic excellence. Specialising in knee and hip surgery, his expertise spans from teaching advanced partial and total knee replacement techniques to performing complex and revision surgeries. His training includes a prestigious fellowship in New Zealand, intensive research at Imperial College London, and specialty certification in trauma and orthopaedics.

Orthopaedic care in Hull and East Yorkshire

Since 2010, Mr. Edwards has been shaping the landscape of orthopaedic care in Hull and Northern Lincolnshire, both through his role at the Northern Lincolnshire and Goole Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and his private practice at Spire Hull and East Riding Hospital. His passion extends to sports medicine, founding the Sports Injuries Triage Clinic and working closely with local sports therapy teams and as an associate of Rehab and Recover clinics. As the chief medical officer for Hull FC and a dedicated doctor for rugby and football clubs, Mr. Edwards bridges the gap between sports and orthopaedic care. His personal life is as enriching as his professional one, shared with his wife Rochelle, a dedicated personal trainer and former nurse, and their two children.
